Teach the principles of healthy living and preventive medicine.
Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) have a minimum of seven years of post-secondary education, including 3 years of university pre-medical sciences and four years of full-time naturopathic medical education. Rigorous international and provincial examinations must also be passed before licensing can occur. Continuing education throughout their careers is also mandatory.
